The Bunsen burner 

Method:

1. Get your equipment needed.

2. Get some safety glasses.

3. Set up your Bunsen burner.

4. Put everything together in your group.

5. Turn it on.

Equipment needed:

1. Bunsen burner

2. Safety glasses

3. Heat mat

4. Tripod

5. Gauze mat

1. The hottest part of the flame is the inner flame.

2. The order is lighting a Bunsen burner is light the match then turn on the tap.

The broken glass is put in a orange bucket.

There is an emergency red button that you press when you need to quickly turn all the gas in the room off.

The fire extinguisher is near the exit.

You should wear safety glasses while doing an experiment or anything that could damage your eyes. 

Cyber-bullying!

Today I am sharing with you something I did about Cyber-bullying. Cyber-bullying is bullying but online. Here is an example: The use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. Cyber-bullying is everywhere from Facebook to Fortnite. Cyber-bullying can ruin peoples lives and make people take there lives. Here is a case of this young boy names William Arthur Gibbs who took his life on 4 May 1877 by hanging at age 12 after being bullied and beaten. We need to take awareness to what's going on around us.

Art!

Today I am sharing with you what I have been doing these past weeks for art. We are focusing these past week on stop motion films with clay paint and more. In my group is me and Malama. We chose to do about light and dark. We first made our clay characters that got destroyed and we just keep making more. We then got our cardboard as our background and then got our paint and paint brushes and got to painting. Malama thought she was Bob Ross and mixed some colours and kinda made a mess but everything worked out in the end. My characters names our Leon for the baby in the light side and Lincoln for the man in the dark side. Here is my background and characters

Flappy Bird!

Today I am sharing with you my work that I did today on Code.org. We had to pick between Bounce and Flappy bird. I chose Flappy bird and I did somethings to make the game function. First I had to pick the background and the obstacles that the Flappy bird is not trying to hit them. Then I just play the game. Scan this QR code on my phone to play my game:

 Here are some of the rules for my game:

1. Don't hit the obstacles. 

2. Don't fall the the ground

3. Don't go too high in the sky.

This is how you play:

1. You press the start button

2. You start clicking on your screen

3. You have to pass on the obstacles to get a high score.

Wonder

This week we watched a movie about Bullying and how it hurt a boy called Auggie. He had a big sister called Via short for Olivia

He was picked on because he had mandibulofacial dysostosis or Treacher Collins Syndrome.

When he was wearing a mask on Halloween he heard his friend say that if he looked like Auggie he would kill himself.

This made Auggie feel upset because he trusted Jack and he betrayed him.

Here’s a quote from Auggie: “But I’m kind of used to how I look by now.”

The theme of the movie is bullying.

Floods around New Zealand!

Today I am sharing with you something that is happening around New Zealand. Here in Christchurch the last few days it has been raining pretty frequently. It goes from soft rain to hard rain in just minutes. From all the rain it has caused bad flooding and water coming out from rivers and lakes taking over people's property and going into people's homes. There is this big bridge in Ashburton that has been filled with alot of water overthrowing trees and plants. People  have had to evacuate their houses. A lot of animals have been killed due to the flooding and the rushing water. Farmers and animal owners have put their lives on the line to save their trapped animals.
