Describing a picture

Malo lelei,

Today I am sharing with you my describing a picture writing. First I picked a photo, then went onto my language features document and put the picture in and wrote the date and wrote down: I see, I hear, I smell, I taste and I wonder. Here is my writing: I see
  • I can see my feet shaking walking across the tightrope

  • I can see the water crashing down like a tree falling to the ground

  • I can see the branches sticking out of the side of the big water whole.

I hear

  • I can hear the water crashing down underneath my feet

  • I hear the sound of the wind

  • I can hear the sound of things falling from the sides

I smell

  • I smell the clear air from the sky

  • I can smell the dirty water from the tightrope

I taste

  • I taste the saliva in my mouth

  • I taste the fresh air from the sky

  • I can taste the dryness in my mouth from the air

I wonder

  • I wonder if I’ll fall and break my neck on the water and I’ll die

  • I wonder if the rope will break and I’ll fall and drown

  • I wonder if I fall of it and get knocked out and drown and die there

After that I got it checked off and wrote a story about it.

It was a good idea, I think. It was just there I thought to myself, I wonder if I’ll fall and break my neck on the water and die, what if the rope breaks and I’ll fall and drown, what if I fall and get knocked out and drown and die there. After worrying I think of something positive to get my mind off it. I taste the saliva in my mouth, I taste the fresh air from the sky, I taste the dryness in my mouth from the air. I can see the water crashing down like a tree falling to the ground. I can see my feet shaking walking across the tightrope. I can see the branches sticking out of the side of the big water whole. I can hear the water crashing down underneath my feet. I hear the sound of the wind. I smell the clear air from the sky.

Why discrimination is wrong.

Malo leilei,

For reading in my group we are learning about discrimination. Discrimination is when someone judges a person for the way they look, act, do and even there culture or who your family/ friends are. I went on Canva and made a small article about discrimination. Here is my discrimination article.

Plot writing fun fantastic graph

Malo e lelei,

Today I am sharing with you my fantastic funny plot writing graph, For writing this week we have a new story.

I was making a plan for a story, Wrote it down in the boxes, highlighted the language features that I'm going to be using and put them on. The story I picked is about me Rye Malama and Temera. The story is when me and Rye try to rob a casino but Temera and Malama are security guards. After I did the story we had to put language features in the story in some bits.

If you didn't know my class have been learning about using language features in our writing. Here is my writing.

That's it for today. Have a amazing day! Comment if you want.
