Kia ora,
Today I am sharing with you awesome people my new word of the week/ weekly words. Weekly words is when my teacher gives me a word that we do a definition of, a example of and my own sentence. This week the word is bemused. Here is my work.
I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Kia ora,
Today I am sharing with you awesome people my new word of the week/ weekly words. Weekly words is when my teacher gives me a word that we do a definition of, a example of and my own sentence. This week the word is bemused. Here is my work.
I can see my feet shaking walking across the tightrope
I can see the water crashing down like a tree falling to the ground
I can see the branches sticking out of the side of the big water whole.
I hear
I can hear the water crashing down underneath my feet
I hear the sound of the wind
I can hear the sound of things falling from the sides
I smell
I smell the clear air from the sky
I can smell the dirty water from the tightrope
I taste
I taste the saliva in my mouth
I taste the fresh air from the sky
I can taste the dryness in my mouth from the air
I wonder
I wonder if I’ll fall and break my neck on the water and I’ll die
I wonder if the rope will break and I’ll fall and drown
I wonder if I fall of it and get knocked out and drown and die there
It was a good idea, I think. It was just there I thought to myself, I wonder if I’ll fall and break my neck on the water and die, what if the rope breaks and I’ll fall and drown, what if I fall and get knocked out and drown and die there. After worrying I think of something positive to get my mind off it. I taste the saliva in my mouth, I taste the fresh air from the sky, I taste the dryness in my mouth from the air. I can see the water crashing down like a tree falling to the ground. I can see my feet shaking walking across the tightrope. I can see the branches sticking out of the side of the big water whole. I can hear the water crashing down underneath my feet. I hear the sound of the wind. I smell the clear air from the sky.
Thank you for reading my blog, Have a amazing day! Comment if you want.
Kia ora,
Today I am sharing with you my fantastic fun word of the week, weekly words. Word of the week is when we get a creative word and we do a definition of it, a example and our own sentence. A definition of a word is like explaining what it is. This week the word of the week is creative.
