one small step for the man: SLJ

One small step for the man

Hello and for Summer learning journey this time I am going to do one about the first person to ever go on the moon. His name is Neil Armstrong and he was born on 5 August 1930.  For him to get to the moon it took 4 days, 6 hours and 45 minutes. Neil Armstrong spent 21 hours and 36 minutes on the moon. Neil Armstrong soon after died from an heart surgery. If I was Neil Armstrong and having my first step on the moon I would be scared but also exited to find stuff out and nervice because it's something new and you never know what might happen. That's it for now and have a good day or night. wait don't go yet I have a poem to show you first.

If I was Neil Armstrong I would be scared
I would feel like I'm weird
I'm lucky he doesn't have beard
being really famous
I would just be unprepared
Like It's dangerous.

  1. Hi Victoria!

Me again. Congratulations on completing another activity - you're doing such a great job! :)

You've come up with a really creative poem here, Victoria. I like that you've made it rhyme. Did you find it tricky to come up with all the rhyming words? If you could, would you travel to the moon?

    Blog ya later!

    Mikey :)

  2. Hey Victoria!

My names Natasha and I'm going to be checking in on your blog for the next few weeks and trying to give you some helpful feedback on your Summer Learning Journey posts.

You're quite the talented poet, Victoria, I'm impressed! I really like how you gave really specific times for how long Neill Armstrong was on the moon and how long it took him to get there. I agree, it would be a bit scary, but also quite exciting.

If you wanted to make your post even better, try including photos! But remember, always give credit to the site/person you got the photo from in your post.

If you went to the moon, what would be the first thing you do?

Amazing work Victoria, I'll be waiting eagerly for your next post. Have an awesome break from school and a relaxing holiday :)
